How do I book a Travel ticket on Mytrip?

You can purchase/book a bus ticket/trip on your smart devices by downloading our app from the android or apple store by typing “Mytrip.ng”. After the successful install, register, login then proceed with th following stages.

1. Choose your departure, destination and travel date
2. Select “Search”
3. Compare trips and select from any vehicle operator
4. Select available seat(s), provide passenger details and complete booking

What time do online bus booking operate?

Online bus booking ticket sales on Mytrip are available 24 hours daily.

Do I have to pay to use the app?

You can search & compare ticket fares for Free! according to your preferred travel date & destination, but in making active ticket reservations, payments must be collected on the mobile app.

What payment methods are available?

You can pay with any of your local or international bank cards (Verve, VISA & Master Card) as well as the MyTrip Wallet which is the most recommendable means.

How can I fund MyTrip Wallet?

1. On the Mytip app, tap on the “+” icon just beside the wallet balance.
2. You will be provided with a dedicated bank account
3. Make a valid transfer to that bank account
4. Your Wallet will automatically get credited with the transferred amount in few seconds.

What if I want to change/cancel my travel date?

Kindly contact us to confirm a new date or cancel the booked ticket and a possible refund. However please note that the cancellation fee and cancellation period may differ for specific bus services. Please contact any of our executives for cancellation details on any specific service.

What do i take to the park for the journey?

All you need is a valid e-ticket from us and also a valid means of identification, this could be National identity card, international passport, voters card, etc.

I missed the bus. Do I get a refund?

Mytrip provides a 100% refund if the bus is missed due to either Mytrip or its’ partner company's fault. However, if the bus is missed due to any other reason not directly related to Mytrip, no refund is provided.

I did not receive a booking confirmation, What should I do?

Kindly contact us to get the issue resolved against your travel date.

Does booking online cost me more?

The price of the bus ticket is the same as you would get from the bus operators or sometimes discounted depending on the season/time.

Is there any service/extra fee?

Yes. We would usually charge fees between N100 - N200 per seat reservation, this helps us cover for the server costas well as the payment processing fees.

Is it safe to use my credit card on this site?

Transactions on Mytrip are very safe. We employ the best-in-class security and the transactions done are secure. Using SSL ensures that the information exchanged with us is never transmitted unencrypted, thus protecting the information from being viewed by unauthorized individuals.

At what time am I expected to be at the terminal?

You are expected to be at your departing terminal at least thirty(30) minutes before the boarding time.

Can I book for more than one seat?

Yes. You can book for more than one seat. Simply select more seats during the seat selection stage when booking on the App. After a successful reservation, a receipt email is sent to all the passengers included in that booking.
